The reason the Epstein case continues to dominate headlines is simple: the corporate media wants it to.  They claim their motive is “transparency,” pushing for the release of sealed documents—especially grand jury transcripts.  But let’s be honest—they know full well that grand jury testimony won’t reveal much.  By design, grand juries serve a narrow purpose: to determine whether there’s enough evidence to indict, not to uncover every detail of a case.

At the same time, the media knows that conspiracy theories drive ratings, sow chaos, and erode public trust—all while boosting clicks and viewership.  When such narratives are believed by millions, truth becomes subjective, and that distortion of reality serves their goals.  The renewed focus on Jeffrey Epstein has become political theater—not a pursuit of justice, but a calculated effort to embarrass Donald Trump and his allies.

It’s no secret Trump crossed paths with Epstein. That’s hardly shocking – billionaires tend to populate the same elite social circles.  Nevertheless, media outlets have resurfaced old photos, letters, and social interactions from the 1990s and 2000s to justify yet another round of calls for investigation into Trump.

Make no mistake: the crimes of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were heinous.  But linking Trump—or anyone else—to these convicted sex traffickers based on tenuous connections offers a convenient narrative for those eager to damage him politically.

Once again, we appear to be watching a broader campaign to discredit Donald Trump.  And anyone who follows politics understands there are no coincidences in Washington.  So fair-minded Americans are left asking: Why now?  Why is Epstein suddenly headline news again? Where were the investigations during the Biden years?  And why do Sunday morning talk shows lead with a six-year-old scandal while the two of the most consequential threats to American democracy, the cover-up of President Biden’s mental decline and the Obama administration’s fabrication of the Russian collusion hoax are ignored?

Watergate was once considered the greatest political scandal in American history.  But no longer.  If President Biden was not making the decisions himself and others did so in his name without transparency, accountability, or constitutional authority we are no longer governed by a democracy, but by deception.  That’s not just a scandal it’s a Constitutional crisis.  Likewise, if the Russian collusion narrative was knowingly fabricated and weaponized by Obama-era officials to sabotage a political opponent, it represents more than misconduct.  It’s systemic corruption at the highest level, a blueprint for authoritarianism disguised as national security.

Yet when the corporate media chooses which stories to amplify, they never fail to reveal their biases and loyalties.

Quote of the Day: “Our job is only to hold up the mirror — to tell and show the public what has really happened.”—Walter Cronkite
