• Urban legends endure not because they’re true, but because we want them to be true.
  • Has anyone seen the Democrat blueprint for addressing a $2 trillion budget deficit, $3 billion in daily interest payments, $37 trillion of national debt, or a $1.2 trillion annual trade deficit? I didn’t think so.
  • I’ve written before there are 3 questions that will destroy most of the arguments of the Left. 1) compared to what? 2) what’s the cost? and 3) what hard evidence do you have?
  • Progressive policies are seldom a matter of desirability, rather, they’re almost always a matter of feasibility.
  • The legacy media tells us women are underrepresented in Silicon Valley but are silent on the fact that Silicon Valley depends upon computer software engineering, and women receive less than 30% of those degrees.
  • The only difference between news from CNN or MSNBC and a fairy tale is that the later begins with “Once Upon a Time.”
  • Regardless of which accent or dialect Kamala Harris chooses to use, it never seems to resonate with American voters.
  • I’m still wondering why Barack Obama still hasn’t issued an unambiguous denial about his role in Russia-gate. At least Bill Clinton had the cojones to lie and tell the world, “I did not have sex with that woman!”
  • Good immigration law would contain three provisions 1) all undocumented people living here must register with the Department of Homeland Security within 90 days. 2) All cases will be reviewed by immigration judges online and humane visas will be issued to those meeting certain parameters, such as Dreamers, legitimate asylum seekers, and those working in essential industries and 3)  Anyone living here illegally who doesn’t register should face immediate deportation.
  • Is it just me, or does it seem as if the Democrat Party doesn’t just hate Donald Trump, they seem to hate his supporters too.
  • New York’s socialist mayoral candidate Zohran Kwame Mamdani’s talks about affordability, but has he ever cited a Marxist society anywhere on earth and at any time in history that had fully stocked grocery shelves?
  • The Europeans lecturing us about Hamas is nothing short of disgusting!
  • Nancy Pelosi’s stock portfolio outperformed the nation’s top 20 fund managers in 2024 – imagine that!
  • Do you wonder why the illegal aliens who were transported to Martha’s Vineyard in September 2022 were relocated off the island within 48 hours?
  • There are always barriers to achieving anything worthwhile, but the real question is, is it better to complain about the barriers or do something about removing them?
  • Watching the legacy media interview people like Jake Sullivan on the Sunday Morning talk show circuit to assess Friday’s meeting between Trump & Putin is akin to asking a second-string quarterback who’s never been in an NFL game to assess why Tom Brady failed to win more Super bowls.
  • And lest we forget, Putin invaded Georgia under Bush, Crimea under Obama and Ukraine under Biden, but never invaded anywhere during either Trump administration –anyone who’s ever negotiated to buy a car or house, knows you never reveal your strategy during the negotiation – the legacy media isn’t interested in reporting this story with context.  Its only interest is in criticizing the president for not accomplishing what was never even begun under the Biden administration.
  • And lastly, just in case you’re wondering, next July 4th the United States will celebrate its “Semi-quincentennial” birthday.

Quote of the day: “Any fighting with the Soviets, even if it starts small, will escalate quickly into a larger war.” – John Foster Dulles, Former Secretary of State of the United States.
