- There are so many myths and fallacies perpetrated by the Left regarding climate change that it’s impossible to review them all. However, the one glaring aspect of the previous administration’s energy policy was that that it did not decrease the demand for fossil fuels; rather, it just shifted who the suppliers were. So, instead of using relatively clean American fuel oil, fossil fuel using nations were forced to use dirtier, Iranian, Venezuelan and Russian fuel oils, including the United States.
- Some would have us believe only the green new deal can save the planet even though over the course of four and half billion years the earth has survived the effects of shifting tectonic plates, meteor strikes, solar flares, continental drift, magnetic storms, polarity reversal, flooding, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, storm surges, sunspots, cyclones, tornadoes, and asteroid strikes.
- Does anyone recall the Dothraki rationale for their beliefs in the fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones? Like all fantasies, when a matter lacked evidence the Dothraki would explain the situation by saying, “It is known.” Well, like the Dothraki, progressives will tell you that climate change is responsible for every natural disaster except for perhaps earthquakes; and in today’s climate orthodoxy, bad weather is always man-made, so don’t waste time arguing with them because, “it is known.”
- Meanwhile, the climate change movement is dying, and it’s not because of new climate data; rather it’s because educated people are beginning to realize that very few of the apocalyptist actually believe what they say. C’mon, if the seas were really rising do you think Barack Obama would really have two (2) oceanfront mansions?
- If giving women roles in combat increases the lethality of our military, then we should be all for it. If it doesn’t, then all we’re really doing is using the military for social experimentation—and that’s not the mission of the military.
- When Soviet-style, anti-meritocratic ideology permeates just about every aspect of modern life as it does in California, the horrific wildfires the world witnessed in mid-January were inevitable.
- When the Left gnashes its collective teeth over the possibility of children being separated from the families, it’s little more than virtue signaling because we never hear the teeth-gnashers in congress questioning the whereabouts of the 300,000 illegal immigrant children who have gone missing over the last four years at the hands of human traffickers and sex traffickers.
- I’ll never understand why the myth persists that the Mexican government is America’s friend vis-à-vis the decades of overwhelming evidence that the Mexican government is at best willfully negligent, and at worst, in active collusion with the criminal networks.
- Donald Trump handed Joe Biden peace in the Middle East and peace in Europe; what the Joe Biden gave back was war in the Middle East and war in Europe.
- And speaking of pardons, I really wish Trump hadn’t pardoned the January 6th protestors who had attacked police.
- Men, if you’re looking for a way to make an impression on a woman compliment her on the shoes she’s wearing.
- And while we’re on the subject of women, the best present you can give the lady in your life is to “be present.”
- We all know that if we lose one of our senses our other senses become more enhanced, which is why people with no sense of humor have a heightened sense of importance.
- A great way to start each new day is to write a note to your past thanking it for the lessons you’re going to apply today.
- What some people might call road rage I call aggressive maneuvering around idiots who don’t know how to drive.
- If all the cars in the USA were magically transformed into electric vehicles, we would need roughly 7,000,000 more charging stations to service them all – how many are in your neighborhood?
- And lastly, consider yourself successful if you have 1) Peace of mind, i.e. freedom from fear, freedom from anger and freedom from guilt; 2) Good health and a high level of energy; 3) Long term, intimate, and mature relationships with other people; 4) Enough money that you do not worry about it; 5) A commitment to worthy goals and ideals, and 6) A feeling of personal fulfillment and self-actualization.
