• The democrats are terrified of Donald Trump because if he wins in ‘24 he’ll be much better prepared for the Washington swamp this time around. And vis-à-vis the lies and the vilification Trump has been subjected to over the last seven years, they know if the Republicans also take both the House and the Senate in addition to the presidency, there will be political hell to pay.
  • Meanwhile, the more Donald Trump whines and obsesses about the unfairness of the media, however justified, it reveals a deep paranoia in the man, and reminds us of Captain Queeg from the movie, The Caine Mutiny.
  • Sadly, hate is a more powerful emotion than love, and it’s a sad indictment of our country that arguably the worst president in the history of the United States, Joe Biden, was elected not because of any accomplishments or brilliance, both of which are non-existent, but rather because so many people hated Donald Trump.
  • The nation’s strategic petroleum reserve has a maximum capacity of roughly 715 million barrels and are stored in huge underground salt caverns at four sites along the coastline of the Gulf of Mexico; and when you live in a world that runs on energy, the sheer size of the SPR make it a key tool in foreign policy.  So, I wish someone would explain the rationale behind the Biden administration’s decision to draw those reserves down to less than half of its maximum capacity (now under 340 million barrels) with the world in turmoil and two significant wars going on while we have the ability and capacity to be energy independent?
  • An April 2022 audit showed the IRS spent $574 million to implement the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act that was supposed to identify wealthy Americans using undisclosed foreign accounts.  Congress passed the law because they said it would raise $9 billion in revenue by 2020.  But the audit revealed that the IRS spent $574 million to implement the law but found only $14 million in revenue – ah yes, government bureaucracy at work, these guys are almost as efficient as the post office.
  • Considering that the fentanyl coming across the southern border is killing between 70,000 – 100,000 American per year, might the $80 billion Biden is spending on hiring 87,000 more IRS agents be better spent on hiring border patrol agents who actually accomplish something?
  • Has anyone noticed that every time we watch a news clip of protestors advocating for Hamas and the Palestinians in Gaza, there’s always a Black Lives Matter banner in the background?
  • A euphemism is a mild or indirect word or expression substituted for one considered to be too harsh or blunt when referring to something unpleasant or embarrassing, which is why healthcare activists have substituted the euphemism, “gender affirming care” for genital mutilation.
  • No one questions that the LBGQT community has its struggles and challenges, but the democrats and left use the community as pawns in their ideological efforts to transform society.
  • What did Barack Obama do to ameliorate the single parent home rate or the abhorrent violent crime rate in black America?  Did he have a ten-point plan to address this, a five-point plan or even a one-point plan?  I didn’t think so.
  • This one goes into the “you can’t make this stuff up” category – George Floyd Square businesses (yes there actually is an area in Minneapolis named for the multiple-times incarcerated felon) are suing the city of Minneapolis for allowing rampant crime that’s driving away customers.
  • And speaking of St. George Floyd, no caring individual thinks he should have died during his arrest, but what is truly despicable is pretending that this man lived a heroic lifestyle when he didn’t. George Floyd was sainted by the media for one reason only; a white man in authority killed a black man in pubic.  That Floyd was a life-long serial criminal up until the very last moments of his life, made no difference whatsoever to the media.
  • Before I get too serious, but keeping with the spirit of this post, have you ever wondered what Bill Clinton must feel like every time he realizes Trump has Melanie and he has Hillary – c’mon, you know they must think about that!
