The last piece of the puzzle

There’s an old saying, “When people reveal to you who they are, it’s wise to believe them.”  And as we watch the unraveling of our country, it’s worth paying attention to the things those in power have said.  And I’d like to begin with our former president and first lady, Barack, and Michelle Obama.

During the run-up to the 2008 election Michelle told America “We are going to have to change our conversation: we’re going to have to change our traditions, we’re going to have to move into a different place as a nation.”  Change our traditions?  Really!  Change them to what?  Later that year Barack Obama told a crowd in Columbia, Missouri, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

Uninformed Americans thought the Obamas were simply predicting his historic election as the first black president of the United States was about to be elected  But the chosen couple had far more sweeping changes in mind for America.  As president, Barack Obama began by demonizing the lifeblood of the American economy and the underpinning of our global strategic initiatives—American energy.  And why did he do this?  Because it was the first of many steps towards a leftist power grab.  Fast forward to 2017 when Joe Biden following in Obama’s footsteps began his own full-throttle assault on home grown energy while at the same time absorbing millions of illegal immigrants in an effort to change the demographics of the country.

Meanwhile, there is another expression we would be wise to heed, “actions speak louder than words” and while we hear the Left talk about the preciousness of our Constitution, the reality is they have no interest in preserving what the Founders bequeathed to us.  C’mon, common sense tells us it’s not possible to love your country and at the same time want to fundamentally change it.  Does a man who truly loves his wife want to fundamentally change her?

Trump gave us a temporary reprieve, but since then, the Biden administration has taken extreme left-wing position on almost everything; families & faith are being dishonored, individualism is becoming less important, and it seems no matter where we turn, even the most open-minded among us are being labelled racists.  Meanwhile, capitalism is being destroyed by a combination of economic socialism and climate fanaticism.   Our classrooms are little more than indoctrination mills where teachers’ unions try to eliminate parents from the education equation as schools & universities are becoming hotbeds of racism, segregation, bigotry, and gender misapplication.  We might ask why this is happening; to which I can only answer that the political party currently in power seeks to permanently control our governmental institutions just as it dominates the media, academia, and entertainment.

As we drift further from the vision of the Founders, we find our Constitution under assault from the Bill of Rights to the Electoral College to the Supreme Court.  Consider, which political party refuses to honor the First Amendment as evinced by its continual gaslighting and the cancel culture?  Which political party wants to eliminate the Electoral College?  And which political party wants to expand/pack the Supreme Court?  We might also ask ourselves, when was the last time we heard a prominent democrat sincerely praise the United States?  Mostly, what we hear from the Left is what a racist place America is.

The Left also loves to talk about “saving our democracy” because doing so buttresses their pretense that the people are actually in control when nothing could be farther from the truth.  They also know that the best way to destroy our democracy is through the ballot box, which is why the democrats have eliminated signature and date requirements on absentee ballots, called for universal mail in voting, automatic voter registration, pre-registering voters under the age of 18, voter harvesting, voter drop boxes, early voting, extended voting, illegal alien voting in local elections, and the distribution of drivers licenses to illegal aliens, all with the same objective – to change the election process.

And by flooding the country with illegal aliens and scattering them to the forty-eight contiguous states, the democrats are slowly subverting one of the two prime safeguards for our democracy – the Electoral College.  The other safeguard is a free press, but the mainstream media is already in the hip pocket of the Democrat Party; and while it’s ostensibly ‘free,’ the reality is that it’s become complicit in propagating the democrat message.

The Founders understood an absolute democracy lacks protections to allow the minority to be heard or acknowledged, which is why they gave us the Electoral College.  But by allowing millions of illegal aliens into this country who have no understanding of our traditions, customs, mores, values, and culture, the democrats know they can harvest millions of votes from the uninformed & uneducated about what the Founders actually gave us.

The Left already owns the media, academia, entertainment, and at least half of the corporate boardrooms – soon, they will have the demographics.  Ashleigh Brilliant told us, “Life  is a very special occasion,” and it has been for most Americans, but I fear that aphorism is losing its meaning in these United States.
