Just Sayin’

• During a recent TV interview with MSNBC’s Willie Geist, Hillary Clinton said critical race theory was a “stalking horse” used by Republicans in the Virginia gubernatorial race to capitalize on anger parents harbored toward remote schooling during the pandemic, begging the question, “Does anyone really give a damn about Hillary Clinton’s opinions anymore?
• BTW ~ once again Hillary misleads; it wasn’t a “Stalking Horse,” a term that implies deceit and concealment – these parents along with millions of others across the nation have been vocal since the pandemic started that the teacher’s unions were playing politics with the children’s education.  Geez, could a woman possibly be more bitter?
• On January 29, 2019, American actor Jussie Smollett falsely reported to the Chicago Police Department a fake hate crime the actor had staged earlier that morning, alleging that Trump supporters wearing MAGA hats assaulting him (at 2:00 AM on a below zero morning) was front page news in every news outlet in America. However, after Mr. Smollett’s conviction, I found it interesting that MSNBC did not mention the outcome of the trial even once.  MSNBC doesn’t dispense news, it dispenses propaganda.
• A recent YouGov poll of 42,000 people in 38 countries found that Barack Obama was the most admired man in the world. Two other presidents also broke into the top ten – Chinese President Xi Jin Ping and Vladimir Putin—good poll!
• Has anyone else noticed the increasing number of black actors appearing in commercials these days? Sometimes the entire ensemble is black, and in many cases, we see interracial couples pitching everything from the soft drinks to iPhones.  But if the people who produce these commercials were serious about “equity” in representation, don’t you think the demographics we see on TV should reflect the actual demographics of the nation as a whole?
• The nation is beset by so many problems (supply chain, worst inflation in 40 years, rising crime, more than a million unvaccinated illegal aliens crossing the border, 800,000 dead from CORONA virus, skyrocketing gas prices and more Fentanyl crossing our southern border than at any time in history) that even an addled and sleep walking president is starting to become aware of it.
• But perhaps it’s not all bad, President Biden should be commended for reducing gas prices by 2-cents last month (after overseeing a $1.30 per gallon increase last year.)
• And speaking of Sleepy Joe, has anyone noticed that the Biden family’s business activities (Joe, Hunter, daughter Valerie and brothers James and Frank) always occur in the nether regions of international finance, e.g., in China, Russia, Ukraine & Kazakhstan; couldn’t the Biden family find any foreign business opportunities in Canada, Australia, or the UK?
• In a perfect example of “woke” ideology – The University of Pennsylvania transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, who spent three years competing as a male and who has been smashing female swimming records has put into question the integrity of women’s college athletics. When “Ms.” Thomas won her race by 38 SECONDS in an event where winners are usually separated by seconds or fractions of seconds, her “victory” was met with stone silence—not a single fan nor a single teammate applauded for “her.”  Says a lot, doesn’t it?
• If the democrats pack the Supreme Court, then every time the legislature and presidency are held by the same party the Supreme Court will be refashioned in a manner that Congress and the president want, to wit; the democrats add three seats, the Republicans add four and before you know it, we’ll have a 100-person unelected third chamber of the legislature with more power than either.
• Biden’s vaccine mandates aren’t government overreach; what’s really occurring is the democrats and the media are using COVID to keep the nation from focusing on their failing leftist policies.
• During the Trump administration the media would tell us hourly how many people had died or were dying from COVID, but now that more people had died from COVID under the Biden administration we don’t seem to hear COVID statistics nearly as often.
• While there are many, I’ll offer just one reason people don’t trust the Biden administration. How much sense does it make to demand that everybody get a vaccination, except if you’re coming across the southern border illegally?
• And speaking of the vaccination issue, did you know that to get an EUA (an emergency use authorization) to pursue the development of vaccines, the government can’t have anything that’s effective as an alternative, such as the therapeutics hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin to treat COVID-19 patients—so tell me, how much sense does that make?
• Just to be clear, one senator isn’t blocking Build Back Better – 51 senators are blocking it.
• And lastly, regardless of one’s political leanings, this nation needs an independent medical assessment of the president’s mental health. That is a sobering fact to face, but it’s a must.
