Lead by Example

Quite obviously the blog post I had written for today is in my electronic waste basket and there’s nothing I can say that hasn’t either been said or speculated about.  And no matter how one does the calculus, what occurred on Saturday doesn’t paint a pretty picture for the country.  My hope now, as I suspect is the case for most of those reading this, is for the Republican presidential nominee, while he has the nation’s and the world’s full attention, to repeat his call for unity and then act upon those words.

We can speculate about how to do that, but I trust Trump, the showman and patriot, to lead by example and embrace the notion of unity and then deliver that message to the world and the American people.
